Bridal Shows {Come See Me}

I just wanted to let everyone know, I will be at the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show on January 25th 12-4pm. I will also be at the Ashley Manor Bridal Show on January 28th 6:30-8:30pm. Both of these shows are in Baton Rouge. If you are at the show please stop by my booth. I look forward to seeing you at the show.

Oh and I am very sorry I have been lacking in the blog area recently. Things have been crazy and I am really trying to catch up.

Cy has the most adorable little rosie cheeks. I had a great time photographing him around Christmas. I can not wait to see him again soon. Here is a preview of this precious little boy.

JoLyn & Jonathan

JoLyn & Jonathan’s Wedding was beautiful! It was so exciting to play such an important role in the wedding day. JoLyn is a sorority sister of mine so when she asked me to be her Wedding photographer I felt so special.

The wedding was at Nottoway Plantation and it was a storybook day. This couple is so in love & you can tell that they would do anything for each other which is great being that they got married. Anyway, the two of them decided to meet before the wedding for pictures, which was awesome. I had the opportunity to photograph them throughout the beautiful grounds of Nottoway. But the sweetest part was when Jonathan saw JoLyn for the first time, his reaction was priceless.

Another thing that made the day so magical was they picked JoLyn’s grandparents 50th wedding anniversary as their wedding date. But not only was it their anniversary but her grandfather was the minister for the wedding. I thought it was so neat they had a cake and dance for the grandparents and even had three of her grandmothers bridesmaids at the wedding.

Thank you to the Perret & Howard families for allowing me to play such an important role in JoLyn & Jonathan’s special day! I look forward to posting all of the pictures for you to view.

Hollie and Chris met running so why not make the grooms cake with tennis shoes on top! This couple is full of energy and love. The wedding was so much fun! It has been an awesome year working with the two of them and there families.

Megan & Phillip {10.11.08}

Funny story about Megan & Phillip’s wedding… When Bridgette and I arrived at Megan’s house, the day of the wedding, she realized that Phillip could not find the wedding rings. Luckily Megan knew she had packed them but could not remember where. So calm as can be, she hands her mom the money and sends her to the store to buy some quick replacement rings, just in case. Well a couple hours later, she is getting ready and she pulls this box out of the bag, it was the rings, lol. The entire time she thought they were with Phillip. It was so funny when she found them. All the women in the room said she should not admit the mistake, I know horrible. Megan decided she would surprise him when they exchanged rings, during the ceremony. Poor Phillip, when I arrived at the church to do some pre – wedding shots, he was so upset about the missing rings and he was totally stressed, I felt so bad , I almost told him, I hate secrets…. But I let him find out during the wedding ring exchange. It was cute to see them laugh about it afterwards.

I just wanted to share this story because I thought it was funny. I also wanted to let Megan and Phillip know they have been such a great couple to work with. I hope you guys will enjoy this preview. I hope to get all the pictures posted withing the next week or so. Thanks.

Alex & Connor

These two were a bundle of energy. It was so fun to watch them having such a great time and just observe how excited they were. Alex is such a great big sister and everything she would do Connor would want to do the same. I guess that is the way it is when you are younger. But it was so sweet to see the two of them interact. Thanks so much to Campbell’s for letting me be a part of capturing your family memories. I had an awesome time. I hope I will be invited back soon. There are not many houses I go to that I get a picture drawn for me before the little ones even meet me. (Alex drew me a picture, it was super cute). Anyway, thanks again, I had a GREAT time!

Stacey & Derek {Engagement Session}

The Kennedy’s {Maternity Session}

The Kennedy’s are just the cutest couple. They have two dogs that are very much like children, the dogs have no clue what is in store when there baby sister arrives. I have a feeling the little princes will be getting a lot of attention. Anyway, I had a great time with Sarah and Mike. They invited me into there home in Kenner so we could get some shots of the baby’s room and also in the yard. I hope you guys will enjoy this quick preview. Thanks again for everything.
